Oatmeal and Raisin Cookies

Pre-heat your oven to 350 F. In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt.
In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar together until creamy and fluffy.
Add both the eggs and the vanilla essence. Mix well.
Add the flour mix to the bowl, one spoon at a time and combine well.
Add the oats and raisins and mix well.
Take a cookie sheet and drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the sheet. Try to space the dough out equally.
Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack or plate to cool. Let the cookies cool completely before storing them in an air-tight container.
